BLOG TOUR, REVIEW, & #GIVEAWAY - ALEX: Perfect Opposite #1 by Zoya Tessi

Book & Author Details:

ALEX: Perfect Opposite Book One (Extended edition)
by Zoya Tessi
Publication date: January 23rd 2017
Genres: New Adult, Romance

Synopsis:

Their wishes were simple and modest. Fate had other things in store though, and she can be a real bitch sometimes.

All he wanted was to get the job done and somehow to endure those long months playing nanny to a spoiled little rich girl. Without strangling her with his bare hands in the process. Well, it is going to be much easier said than done.

All she wanted was to escape the past and live like any other girl. Her plan definitely didn’t include the arrogant, tattooed savage, with his awful mohawk and lack of social graces, whose only mission was to stick real close and mess up her life.

But, people aren’t always what they seem to be, are they?

Independent Reviewer for Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

Well, this was quite the read! I was a mess. My emotions were a roller coaster and I couldn’t stop reading the book. I’d read at night until my eyes closed and would start reading first thing when I woke up until I had to get ready for work. This was a book that I could not put down and a book I’d love a sequel to.

Okay, so obviously, you know my fascination with this story and with Alex and Sasha.  They are the perfect type of characters.  A lot of spice and a hint of sugar. There was great interaction and bickering back and forth between the characters.  There was a hint of caring and a splash of love followed by a long swig of bitterness. It was the perfect combination and my absolute favorite to read about and gush to you future readers about!!

Ahh, the details. This author is great about providing just enough detail so you’re not confused, but also at withholding just enough to keep you grasping at the pages trying to figure out the rest of the story. In this story and the events that happen in this story, you might feel just a touch of aggression towards the author.  It’s okay if you do, I did too. Enough I wanted to either throw my kindle or stop reading.  Since I value my kindle too much and I was so engrossed into the story, I kept reading. OMG! I’m SO GLAD I kept reading.

So, do I have you interested? Do you want to grab yourself a copy of the book yet? I hope so. You will be OH SO HAPPY you did! It was an incredible read. It was mafia, tough boss man, sassy princess, and a steamy forbidden romance wrapped in one. Now, I’m off to go stalk the author and find out what other reads I can find by her because this was my first!

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. *

Zoya spent years doing volunteering work all across Europe, from cleaning school basements in Northern Russia to excavating Stone Age artifacts in Euskadi (the Basque country) and renovating castles from the middle ages in Southern France. She always dreamed of working with ‘Doctors without borders’ somewhere out in Africa, but ended up doing an ‘ordinary job’ in one of the smaller European countries.

Her greatest passion is devouring each and every book that comes within her reach.
