The White Aura - book 1
If he meets her, she will die. Twenty year old sorcerer and college student Scott Tabors knew he’d found his heart mate the moment he saw seventeen year old Olivia Whitehead outside of a coffee shop. He longs for her, he wants her, and he knows she will be his. But due to a curse on his family, he can’t meet her. Not yet. So for now, he visits her in her dreams, where he can tell her everything but his name.

Olivia Whitehead and her best friend Juniper are enjoying their junior year and are as close as sisters. But Olivia can’t tell anyone about the strange changes she’s experiencing, beginning with steamy dreams featuring a mysterious dark haired young man. But what will happen when the school heartthrob starts showing interest? Will she wait around for her dream man, or will she move on?

Then, when Olivia’s life is put in danger by a new threat, Scott must find a way to save her – without condemning her to an early death.

The Vessel - book 2
Scott and Olivia survive a nearly deadly school dance, but the aftermath of their meeting has everyone who loves them looking for answers. And when Olivia is thrust into a terrifying situation that pushes her to her limits, she must learn for herself what she is capable of.

She loves Scott, but her parents have disappeared, her grouchy brother has come back to town, and mysterious men are tailing them both. As mysteries swirl around Olivia’s family, Scott must help her discover more about who she truly is—while he races to find the last living descendant of Devlin Hart, the sorcerer who cursed the Tabors family.

With all of this, can their new love grow? It is further tested by an unexpected rival with a claim on Olivia’s heart. Scott will have to fight his jealousy to continue to woo the woman he loves. With the stress of searching for so many answers on his shoulders, will Scott be able to keep Olivia’s heart?

Devlin’s Descendant - book 3
Searching for the sorcerer whose death will set Olivia free from the curse, Scott learns that finding an answer sometimes only brings more questions. As Scott grapples with his horrifying discovery, Olivia uncovers information that could rip his family apart, and Sadie is holding on to a secret of her own.

In book three of the White Aura series, the group searches for the mysterious Sorcery Council, Olivia’s parents, and Aiden, who might just be recaptured by an agent of the Crimson Calamitous. Plus, Olivia’s 18th birthday is getting closer, but they are no closer to real answers. What will happen when Scott reveals the shocking identity of the descendant?

Unbound Destinies - book 4
Olivia’s eighteenth birthday is drawing closer, and with it, the curse threatening to take her life.

Olivia is on a mission to save herself and all those she holds dear in this final installment of the White Aura series. When everyone comes unbound, Scott, Olivia, and those they love must work together to save them all from the council.

Can Olivia fulfill the requirements given to her in order to keep her growing powers? Will the curse claim Olivia’s life before they have a chance to destroy those that threaten everything they value? Will Aiden lose his soul to The Crimson Calamitous?

All of these answers are revealed as Olivia questions everything she’s known in the race to defeat two ancient and powerful sorcerers.

I received these books from HEA Book Tours, PR & More in return for a fair and honest review.

The White Aura

4 out of 5 (very good)

This is a young adult, paranormal romance so immediately you have to turn the clock back to what it was like to be 17, or at least I did. If, at 17 I had started to get dreams about a very sexy man, then I think that I too would have called him "Mister Sexy" especially if I didn't know his name.

Olivia's life is about to take a strange turn but luckily she has her BFF, Juniper, there with her. A boy she doesn't really like is paying a lot of attention to her and when she's with him, she feels confused. Her parents are acting even stranger than usual and then don't forget the dreams.

This is written from the perspectives of Olivia and Scott, and goes at a very swift pace. I found myself egging on Scott at the same time as I worried about the two of them meeting. Given the tumultuous ending, you can be forgiven for forgetting about the curse but I personally was shouting at my kindle. This does complete with cliffhanger ending so be warned.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

The Vessel

4 out of 5 (very good)

The story continues where book 1 finished. Olivia has been taken and Scott needs to find her. He also needs to find out more about the curse as he only has until Olivia turns 18 to break it or she will die. Just to make it more interesting, Aiden makes a return too, only not the Aiden that we all know. He is also being held hostage and Olivia makes a startling discovery which will shape the way of things to come. Scott also has to grow up some in this as he battles against jealousy whenever Aiden is mentioned.

This book is written from the perspectives of Aiden, Scott and Olivia. Once again the pace is swift but completely enthralling and intriguing. I enjoyed book 1 but I am enjoying book 2 even more.

Devlin's Descendant

4 out of 5 (ver good)

One thing I love about these books is although you always get one hell of a cliffhanger ending, the start of the next book drops you straight back in - no waffling, no messing around, just BOOM! and you're back.

Things are definitely moving on now - Scott and Livvie need to sort out their relationship, Sadie and Aiden's relationship is changing and growing ever deeper, Kyle is acting strange, for that matter, so is Anna. They find out who's helping the Red Calamari ;) and it causes shockwaves. Olivia also has to meet with The Council and has some more surprises in store along the way. The more this story goes on, the more I am enjoying it!

This one is written from four perspectives - Olivia, Scott, Aiden and Sadie so you get a well-rounded view on who is thinking what.

Once again, cliffhanger ending but definitely worth it.

Unbound Destinies

4 out of 5 (very good)

The fourth and final book in this series and it's a humdinger of a book! There is a lot that needs to be done - find and defeat Devlin, find and defeat CC, help Kyle, help Olivia's mother, help Anna, help Aiden - and all before the deadline of Olivia's birthday.

One thing I will say is that the build of the aforementioned basically goes through three books and yet, when it finally reaches the conclusive point to that particular point of the story, it feels over and done with very quickly, almost anti-climatic in a way.

This book moves swiftly and is well-written. You will empathise with certain characters whilst marveling at the development of others. This is a satisfying conclusion to Olivia and Scott's story and yet I would still like to read more about Sadie and Aiden, Kyle and Elsie etc. Definitely recommended.

Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

BOOK 1 - White Aura

BOOK 2 - The Vessel

BOOK 3 - Devlin's Descendant

BOOK 4 - Unbound Destinies

“Hello?” I called timidly. I was answered with complete silence. Not even the birds were chirping. I glanced around and walked forward. My arms wrapped around the front of me, not for warmth but comfort.

I knew I was dreaming, but this was still kind of scary. There was a deer to my left, simply watching me. She was beautiful and majestic. She came toward me the moment I wished I could pet her. My hand slowly reached out and touched her coarse coat. Huge brown eyes looked into mine. There was no fear.

“You’re lovely,” I whispered.

“So are you,” a deep voice said from behind me.

I turned violently, scaring the deer off into the trees. Mr. Sexy was standing five feet in front of me. Jeans and a fitted white t-shirt clothed his fit body.

“You’re here.”

“Of course I am, where else would I be?”

“I thought…well, I wasn’t sure if this was our dream or just mine.”

“It’s ours, Livvie. It’s ours. Always ours.”

As soon as her skin touched mine, it happened. It was almost like an out of body experience, a movie that only I could see. I saw Juniper as a baby, small and cuddly in her mother’s arms. I saw her walking, talking, us meeting for the first time, the first day of every school year. Her whole life was passing, including the moment we were in. But then…then I saw her in that gorgeous black gown we had bought on Saturday. Her throat was slit. She was dead.
