Title: Seeking Justice
Author: Rivi Jacks
Genre: Erotic Romance
Release Date: May 8, 2015
Young investigative reporter, Cait Shaw, is not happy about her new assignment; investigating what she deems to be a “seedy” part of Chicago’s more questionable businesses. But her editor seems to have a personal vendetta against the elusive Mr. Justice, leaving Cait with little say in the matter.
Cait is especially shocked and conflicted by her attraction to the irresistible charms of Liam Justice. Liam is like no man she has ever known and she is totally captivated and unprepared for the sinfully erotic, passionate affair they enter into.
As her world is turned upside down, Cait must cope with her growing affection for Liam and his shadowed past.

I received this book from Enticing Journey in exchange for my review.
I AM SO NOT HAPPY! There I was, merrily reading away, not noticing how much time was left in the book, and BOOM! Its done! Finished! So bloody crept up on me, I threw the bloody kindle on the floor, scared the bloody cat half to death and I bloody screamed!! Oh, I've read some cliff hangers that have affected me so, but this one?? THIS ONE??? I have to write my review NOW right this minute, or else I won't be able to tell you how I feel properly. If I wait a bit, it will be gone!
Cait is tasked with finding out all she can on the elusive Mr Liam Justice, while working undercover as a hostess in Liam's club. But Cait has misgivings about her editor's reasons and leaves the newspaper after just one week, but carrys on at the club. Liam does things to her, and he hasn't even touched her. But what will happen when he does, and what will happen if, or indeed WHEN he finds out she started working there under false pretenses.
Cliff hanger aside, I loved this book. I did think, going in, its gonna be a bit lik the other naive-worker-falls-under-club-owner-spell sort of book but it isn't! Its sooooooooooo much more! There is more going on, with Liam, with the editor, with everyone and everything. It slowly builds, and grabs and pulls, and before you know it, you are done, flinging the kindle at the cat and screaming your head off, because I did not see that coming, let me tell ya! That ending, while I EXPECTED Liam to find out about Cait's previous employment at the newspaper, I just did not expect it to be so close to the end, with no happy ever after!
I have to say though, this is a prime, I mean SUPER DUPER EXCELLENT example of a good book negating the fact that this is written in the first person, in the present tense, AND from a single point of view. Because you know how I feel about those things! Cait is this book, and no one else. I would, of course I would've, loved to hear from Liam in this, but thats just me, being a nosey parker. I love how this book is single POV, it works perfectly here!
I read Rivi's first book, several years ago, and the writing has come on in leaps and bounds! THAT book was a hangover too, but this one?? I'm gonna be suffering for days, I tell ya, days!
An excellent book, thank you Ms Jacks, for the three day hangover I'm about to suffer!
Is there another chance for me to fling the kindle at the wall after a second book?? Please?? Pretty Please??
