REVIEW, BLOG TOUR & GIVEAWAY - Feel by Karen-Anne Stewart

Book & Author details:

Feel by Karen-Anne Stewart
Publication date: December 2014
Genres: New Adult, Paranormal Romance

Synopsis:

The one whose emotions I can’t feel is the one who makes me feel the most.

I was a sensitive, at least that’s what I was told by the boy who saved me from the overwhelming emotions that consumed my soul, the boy who saved me from myself when my gift became stronger. Through the years, he was my redemption, my reason to take my next breath…then, he was gone.

Jensen always told me I was strong, but I didn’t believe him until I was forced to be strong on my own, and I kept breathing without him. I’ve taken 42 million breaths since the moment he sent me away. Now, four years later, he’s standing in front of me, and I can barely breathe.

This isn’t just a story about the abilities I possess; it’s a story about something much stronger…the love of the man who possesses every part of me.

***Disclaimer – Feel is intended for readers 18+ due to strong language, mature scenes, and some violence.

Purchase:

5 out of 5 (loved it)

I received this book from Xpresso Book Tours in return for a fair and honest review.

This story is written from the first perspective but it also switches POV at relevant points so you get the view from both Saige and Jensen. The back stories for both of these main characters is done gently so you are not inundated at one go. From the get go though I was wondering just why Jensen had left her when it was so obvious that they belonged together. When I learnt of where he thought she'd gone as opposed to where she ended up, it was awful and I had to remind myself that I was reading a story!

This is an incredibly in-depth tale with lots of characters for you to learn about and love or hate as in Griffin's case. I love the good guys, I really do and the different ones in Jensen's 'other' family are just brilliant. I want Andy as my big brother please! However, Griffin is so incredibly well-written he will make your skin crawl whenever he is mentioned. To make a character so evil and to get across with the written word is simply amazing and I loved/hated reading about him! Trust me, he has no redeeming qualities. These characters are all amazing though and I would to read more about them (hint hint!).

The re-making of the relationship between Saige and Jensen is tender, heartbreaking, funny and sassy at the same time. This make come out sounding wrong but I love Saige's mouth! She is not prepared to just sit back and take the easy option and will give as good as she gets, both physically and verbally. I will admit to cheering out loud when she punched Amira!!

This is Paranormal Romantic Suspense at it's best. The romance was beautifully written with them taking their time to rebuild trust. The suspense of not knowing when and where will keep you turning the pages to continue your love/hate relationship with Griffin. There are parts of this story that will bring a tear to your eye - trust me, you'll know which parts I'm talking about when you get to them. This book simply has it all and I highly recommend it for all fans of PNR and Suspense.
